Noxide Esports Is Officially Open: Ribbon Cutting Recap

We cut the ribbon

Today we made it official: Noxide Esports is open in Columbia. Surrounded by neighbors, local business leaders, Howard County officials, our staff and players, we cut the ribbon on our new home at 7085 Samuel Morse Drive.

This day has been a long time coming. A 35-station LAN floor, an arena stage with spectator seating are now open to the community. We're still building out our console and streamer rooms, and the Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator leadership training program. To everyone who showed up today, thank you for being part of the start.

A huge thank you to County Executive Calvin Ball

We are deeply grateful to Howard County Executive Dr. Calvin Ball for joining us to cut the ribbon. His support for small businesses and for spaces where young people can gather, compete and grow means a great deal to us.

And as a proud Towson University graduate, he picked a fitting week to visit. Towson is one of the schools competing in our Collegiate Rocket League Showmatch, alongside UMD, Loyola and Howard. We'll let him decide who he's rooting for.

Thank you as well to the Howard County business ambassadors who stopped by, and to everyone who helped make today happen.

The celebration continues this weekend
